Submission Rules

Conditions for Book Submission to the 2025 Competition

Applicants must submit an application to the Organizing Committee in accordance with the conditions outlined in the Regulations. Please note that the submission requirements have changed compared to previous years, including modifications to the application content.

The application must be submitted electronically via a Google Form on www.premiaprosvetitel.ru. If physical copies of the book exist, five (5) paper copies should only be sent to the Organizing Committee upon request.

Who Can Apply in 2025?
(Depending on the country of publication, applicants may include):

  • Representatives of the Zimin Foundation
  • Publishing houses
  • Full-time employees of state museums
  • Professors of state-accredited universities
  • Full-time researchers from national academies of sciences, national medical academies, and copyright protection organizations
  • Corresponding members and full members of national academies of sciences and medical academies
  • Jury members
  • Members of the Award Council

Each application must include a document confirming the author’s consent to participate in the competition and acknowledgment of the competition’s terms and procedures.

Eligible Books:
Books must meet the following criteria:

  • Belong to the popular science genre (on any topic)
  • Translated into Russian, with a minimum volume of five (5) author’s sheets
  • Be available for initial (not secondhand) sale and published after March 15, 2022
  • Books in the layout stage of publication are also accepted
