Exploration of Distant Planets

Every astronomer dreams of one thing – discovering a new planet. In the past, such dreams were rarely fulfilled: once or twice in a century. But recently it has changed: a large planet is discovered every week, and about a hundred small ones each night. The book explains how these planets of the Solar System, and even the more distant ones, are explored, what technique is used, what helps the astronomers in their work, how the astronomers name new planets and what discoveries we can expect in the future.
