Field Biologists in Person

The book consists of 12 chapters, but it features even more heroes than that––the Leakey family of paleoanthropologists alone includes three renowned scientists. Saba Douglas-Hamilton contributed significantly to the protection of African wildlife and the continent’s enlightenment, as her father, Iain Douglas-Hamilton, did for the study and conservation of elephants. Artist Andrei Tokarev designed the book jacket and illustrations and there are 30 color photos included.
