The Gospel According to LUCA. In Search After a Family Tree of the Animal Kingdoml

Maxim Vinarsky
The things you can learn from this book:
- animalculum which no one has ever seen and never will see, who was the common ancestor of all living creatures on Earth;
- why dinosaurs cannot be considered extinct and why it is incorrect to say that humans evolved from apes;
- - flies with legs growing out of their heads, toothed pigeons and strange fish with teeth like a circular saw;
- the fact that each of us has not one mouth but two, and why no one knows about it;
- where and when Adam and Eve lived, and why they never saw each other.

The Gospel According to LUCA is about the animal world and the human race. LUCA (Last Universal Common Ancestor) is not an apostle but our common ancestor, and in order to understand what kind of creature it is, the reader will travel over 4 billion years with the author of the book, biologist Maxim Vinarsky. He will learn the history of genesis and evolution of multicellular animals. He will discover that we humans are only one branch of the great Tree of Life, and that the species Homo sapiens was formed in accordance with the laws common to the evolution of all creatures. It will be clear how biologists identify the kinship between animals and reconstruct the pathways of their evolution. The author will learn about the lives and scientific discoveries of the scientists who came up with the idea that all organisms on Earth are evolutionarily related, and who figured out how this affinity can be determined.
