Fishing Birds

This small book covers a wide variety of birds: huge pelicans and small dippers, long-legged herons and stocky goosanders, majestic eagles and nimble frigatebirds, brightly coloured puffins and invisible gulls, hooting fish-owls and laughing kookaburras and about 30 bird species. These birds have one thing in common: love of fish and fishing. Each feathered fisherman has its own techniques and strategies, its own special set of innate fishing skills.
